1951 Crosley station wagon

This picture was made in 1952. That's me cleaning the windshield of our family car, a Crosley station wagon. The tiny propeller in the center of the grill was put on there at the factory. Engine was a 26 hp 4-cylinder with an overhead cam. Very few cars had overhead cams in those days and some didn't even have overhead valves. This one had a 3-speed transmission as did most cars back then.
